PassCoff ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the PassCoff mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: name, email address, and phone number provided during registration.
Location data: your GPS location, used to show nearby cafés and estimate your arrival time. Location is only accessed while the app is in use.
Order information: items ordered, café visited, order time, and payment details (processed securely by our payment provider).
Device information: device model, operating system version, and app version for technical support purposes.
Usage data: anonymized data about app features used, to improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process and fulfill your orders at partner cafés.
To calculate your estimated arrival time and notify the café.
To send order status notifications (e.g., "Your order is ready!").
To improve app features and user experience.
To provide customer support.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. Location Data

PassCoff uses your device's GPS to show cafés near you and automatically estimate your travel time. We do not store your historical location data. Location access can be revoked at any time through your device settings, though this may limit some app features.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

Partner cafés: your name and order details, solely to prepare and fulfill your order.
Payment processors: payment data is handled securely by our payment provider and never stored on our servers.
Service providers: third-party services that help us operate the app (hosting, analytics), under strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure storage to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Push Notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications to update you on your order status. You can opt out of notifications at any time through your device settings.

8. Leaderboard and Public Profile

PassCoff includes a leaderboard that ranks members by passcoins earned. When you use the app, you are entered automatically, and the following is visible to other members:

Your display name — this defaults to the name on your profile.
Your country, shown as a flag. We derive it from an approximate, IP-based lookup; we do not publish your city, address or precise location.
Your passcoins total and rank.

Your email address, phone number, order history and payment details are never shown on the leaderboard.

You are in control of this at any time, from Rewards → Leaderboard in the app:

Change your display name — you may use a pseudonym instead of your real name.
Remove yourself from the leaderboard — you disappear from the public ranking immediately and keep every other feature, including your passcoins.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by taking part and may withdraw at any moment using the option above.

9. Children's Privacy

PassCoff is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and data.
Withdraw consent for optional data processing.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of PassCoff after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
